Ann Marie Wilson

Ann Marie Wilson

Along with her husband, Leonard, Ann Marie is the co-author of the Dark Goddess Chronicles, a series of flintlock-fantasy horror novels rich with fairytale themes. Ann is a life-long fantasy fan, and student of both history and folklore, which she’s always happy for an excuse to drop into her writing. It’s scarily easy to come up with material for a horror story when you already know both the tales people always told each other at night around the fire and the depths to which humanity can sink. To keep the Gothic atmosphere of their darker stories from becoming too onerous, Ann Marie and Leonard also collaborate on Freyjur Fantasies, a lighthearted portal-fantasy romance series, under the nom de plume Lynn Ericson.

Ann Marie & Leonard co-own Lost in the Wood Press.

Leonard Wilson

Along with his wife, Ann Marie, Leonard is the co-author of the Dark Goddess Chronicles, a series of flintlock-fantasy horror novels rich with fairytale themes. Obsessed for as long as he can remember with both fantasy fiction and the magic of words, he began his storytelling career at age nine as an early adopter of Dungeons & Dragons. Even then, his stories skewed toward the spooky and macabre. A writing degree followed. His first professional sale—The Ghost of Mistmoor—remains a D&D Halloween classic. To keep the Gothic atmosphere of their darker stories from becoming too onerous, Ann Marie and Leonard also collaborate on Freyjur Fantasies, a lighthearted portal-fantasy romance series, under the nom de plume Lynn Ericson.
